For many years I've been a telescopic visual observer of the heavens. Although I still enjoy visual observing, there are many deepsky objects which are very difficult to observe with the naked eye.
But when a CCD camera is hooked up to the telescope almost everything can be captured in pictures.
It's a steep learning curve, but rewarding as well and I'll be documenting my progress on this blog.
